Business Litigation

Litigation has long been a principal part of the practice of Cross & Associates. Since the formation of the firm our attorneys have successfully litigated business issues before federal and state trial and appellate courts. When it serves the client's interest, we take advantage of opportunities to use arbitrationmediation and negotiation before turning to the courts. See our Firm Philosophy. We use good faith efforts to avoid litigation where it seems practical to do so. However, once litigation begins, we aggressively prosecute our client's rights to the fullest extent of the law. We also seek to use prejudgment remedies and other preliminary relief to achieve prompt and cost-effective results.

We represent clients in the litigation of matters including:

  • commercial collections
  • breach of contract
  • enforcement of judgments
  • breach of lease
  • partnership disputes
  • business fraud
  • general contract disputes
  • complex business litigation
  • labor matters
  • real estate litigation, including issues of damage to
property, and breach of sales contracts
  • product liability

Achieving the optimum results requires good instincts, the desire to do the best work and the ability to deliver it, thorough preparation and the flexibility to respond to new challenges. Devotion to the client's goals and a cooperative relationship between client and counsel promote the most satisfactory outcome.

We have represented clients in diverse business litigation matters, including federal and state court breach of contract cases, breach of warranty cases, business torts, trademark matters, franchise matters, and many others.
